Stray Haven Humane Society & S.P.C.A., Inc. is 501 (c) (3) non-profit animal shelter for unwanted and stray animals. We have been in existence for over 35 years. Currently we house approximately 40 dogs and 80 cats, and always have a variety on hand. Unlike many animal shelters, we do not give our adoptable animals a “set” amount of time, they remain with us until they are adopted. Therefore, we are a no-kill animal shelter! We are a non-profit organization that relies solely on donations for our existence; we receive NO FUNDING from they county or level of the Government. Any help you can give, we need and appreciate!
Our Humane Law Enforcement Division responds to calls we receive regarding animal cruelty, neglect, abuse and mistreatment of animals within Tioga and Broome County New York. Our Humane Law Enforcement Division Staff checkout all complaints received.

For all that the community does for us we offer the following services back to the community:
• Humane Law Enforcement and Animal Cruelty Investigation.
• Pet Therapy visitation to elderly and nursing homes in our community.
• Low Income Spay & Neutering (Based on total household income).
• Stray Cat Spay / Neuter Program (vaccinations, Feline Leukemia Test, de-worming and Spaying $75 / Neutering $50).
• Humane Education.
• Emergency Animal Rescue Team.
